there are four LICs currently available that pay a monthly dividend
they are PL8 , WHI , SNC , and WMX ( there may be more i don’t know about that focus on ASX listed shares )
i hold PL8 ( first bought in March 2018 and ‘averaged down to 98.5 cents a share )
SNC ( which i bought into April 2024 @ 73 cents ) please note when i bought into SNC it paid 6 monthly divs. then moved to 3 monthly payouts and more recently monthly payouts , it would be reasonable to suspect the dividends will be less frequent if the cash reserves ( or franking credits ) start to dwindle , this monthly thing wasn’t an original mandate .
and WHI ( bought in November 2025 @ $1.34 ) just dipping a toe in so far ( i think this is a little over-valued , but maybe Whitefield know how to make this a good little LIC )
i haven’t dabbled in WMX yet , but never say never , i dislike the mix of shares plus interest-paying debt investments , but then Geoff Wilson has done very well with other LICs he has started ( i hold WAX )
WHI
this is an actively managed fund when the portfolio balance seems to adjust from month to month ( so your concentration risk may be fleeting )
