KingMakers commissions sports complex in Ifako Ijaiye to boost grassroots development
In a bold step towards youth empowerment and grassroots sports development, KingMakers, in partnership with the Ifako Ijaiye Local Government, commissioned the Ifako Ijaiye Sports Complex as part of the brand Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative set to benefit over thousands of residents in the community.
The newly unveiled facility boasts a 150-capacity sports arena suitable for grassroots tournaments, a standard football pitch equipped with floodlights for evening activities, a green relaxation area, modern male and female restrooms, ample parking space, and a comprehensive water infrastructure with sustainability and long-term community impact in mind.
Speaking at the event, Gossy Ukanwoke, CEO and Managing Director of KingMakers, highlight the company’s vision behind the project.
“This project embodies our core belief that sport is more than just competition; it’s a vehicle for social transformation, unity, and empowerment.
“We are intentional about investing in initiatives with lasting impact. The Ifako Ijaiye Sports Complex is a testament to our commitment to uplifting the communities we serve.”
Also speaking, Prince Usman Akanbi Hamzat, Chairman of Ifako Ijaiye Local Government, highlighted the historical importance of the project.
