After the press conference that was held in Chennai on April 19, Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam were seen seated side by side as they enjoyed a delectable South Indian fare in the typical traditional manner. For the unversed, both Kamal and Mani will reunite after 38 years. They had last worked together in the 1987 movie Nayakan.
In one video which has gone viral on social media, both Kamal and Mani were served traditional food on a banana leaf. Also joining them during the meal was Silambarasan, who will be seen playing an instrumental role in Thug Life. Several photos and videos from the event have now gone viral on social media.

The 42-year-old actor Silambarasan, who made his debut as a child actor in cinema, will work with both Kamal Haasan for the first time. While speaking at the launch of the single Jinguchaa, Simbu called himself privileged to work with his onscreen guru Kamal Haasan. “This film is like a dream for me. We all watch Mani sir’s films, listen to Rahman sir’s music and wish to be a part of their films. The fact that I got to act alongside Kamal sir, my onscreen guru, Mani sir and Rahman sir in one film is a big blessing,” he said.
Thug Life will release on June 5 in theatres worldwide.
