Who isn’t a fan of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah and Jethalal? Well, the show has been running since 2008 and Jethalal is the most loved character on television. Jethalal and Daya ben’s love story is the cutest and one can never have a dull moment while watching the comedy TV serial. The show has a huge and a crazy fan following. Bhootni and Jethalal
The bhootni episode is undoubtedly the favourite of the audience. Dilip Joshi won hearts with his performance in the bhootni scenes. His comic timing was just perfect. His first encounter with bhootni during a rainy night was hilarious. Even the last scene when the woman who acted as bhootni gets caught is too funny.
Gulabo and Jethalal’s wedding
Jethalal was trapped in a big problem when all of a sudden a woman named Gulabo claimed to be his first wife. Daya ben was shocked but trusted her husband. Jethalal has some hilarious moments tackling the society members and Gulabo. In the end, his way of solution the ‘Gulabo kaand’ was unique.
Jethalal’s Pakistan ride
Jethalal and his family visit Kucch when they go for a camel ride. But, Jethalal’s camel makes him cross India-Pakistan border. He reaches Pakistan and is accused of being an Indian spy. The scenes are full of emotions and laughter. It is a perfect mix and Dilip Joshi has our hearts with these episodes of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.
Jethalal and Sweety’s affair?
Jethalal gets trapped in a fake affair case because of an employee of his shop. Sweety wants money from Jethalal and hence, accuses him of having an affair with her.
Jethalal and Bagha’s sasu maa
Bawri lies to her family that Bagha is a rich man who lives in Gokuldham society and owns Gada Electronics. Jethalal has to act as his servant while Daya is his sister. However, Bagha’s sasu maa and Jethalal’s hilarious nok-jhok wins hearts.
Jethalal’s tubelight stunt
This scene is loved by all. Jethalal offers to help Babita fix her house tubelight while Goli accompanies him. But, Jethalal gets shock and we get to see some fun moments between him and Goli. This is a big story in entertainment news and TV news.
Jethalal gets kidnapped
Remember the initial episodes when Jethalal got kidnapped and the funny conversations they had with Champaklal? Dilip Joshi was again fabulous in these scenes.
Jethalal is sick but it is Holi!
This is the most funny episode. Jethalal loves Holi and wanted to enjoy it with Babita and hence had planned to go to Mahabaleshwar with her and family. But it turned out that Iyer purposely made him believe that they are going to Mahabaleshwar. When Jethalal gets to know the truth, he acts as if he is sick. They stay back in Gokuldham for Holi but Daya and others do not let him play Holi since he is sick.
Jethalal says ‘Jaisa aap kahe’
Jethalal tries to get Champaklal and Tapu hypnotised so that they listen to his orders. But, because of Daya, he falls prey to his own trap. He gets hypnotised and begins obeying everyone’s orders. This is one of the best scenes.
Jethalal and ‘bhaang ke laddoo’
This Mahashivratri special episode has a huge fan following. Everyone has to visit the Shiv temple for a special puja organised by Popatlal for his wedding. However, Jethalal eats ‘bhaang ke laddo’ given by a priest and hence intoxicated. He loses his senses and now Taarak has to keep him hidden. The way he says ‘Babita ji mai apko dil ki baat boling’ is too funny.
There are endless scenes of Jethalal that have won hearts over the years. It is not easy to count just top 10. We are in love with Jethalal since he came on-screens.
