A known leaker and dummy unit purveyor has shared their latest batch of iPhone 17 units that showcase possible color options, though some don’t quite line up with previous leaks.
It won’t be long before Apple reveals the iPhone 17 lineup, but that hasn’t stopped leakers from sharing every tiny detail they can scrape up in the meantime. The latest comes in the form of dummy units with colors that differ from an earlier camera lens protector leak from the same person.
A Bluesky post from Sonny Dickson shows an image of several iPhone 17 dummy models in different colors. While the orange and dark blue shown reflect what was previously rumored, the standard iPhone 17 set includes what appears to be pink, which wasn’t previously rumored.
First look at iPhone 17 color dummies, The new orange really stands out this year — definitely a bold addition. Thoughts?

The original leak from Dickson showed light green and purple colors. The dummy model may be an interpretation of the purple color, but that still leaves out the green model, which may have been left out of the photo for symmetry.
AppleInsider has reached out for clarification.
Notably, the black iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Air dummy models are much darker than the black used in iPhone 16. The blue and pink/purple colors are also much more pastel than their counterparts on the previous model.
The iPhone 17 Air light gold comes off tan in the photo, and there’s a different shade of blue used in the dummy, called blue gray previously. The iPhone 17 Pro models vary greatly from iPhone 16 Pro thanks to the inclusion of actual colors — dark blue and orange.
The dummy units created by Dickson are usually quite accurate, especially this close to the real iPhone release. Color discrepancies aside, this may be the best look at iPhone 17 Pro before the launch besides seeing someone carrying one in public.
Apple is expected to reveal the iPhone 17 lineup on September 9. The new camera bars and iPhone Air are expected to be the focus of the event, though Apple Watch Series 11 will also be revealed.
