Fredis Seravia-Corvera, 25, was killed Thursday after his vehicle crashed on I-93 in Medford.
State police are investigating a five-car crash on Interstate 93 in Medford that killed a Revere man on Thursday night.
Fredis Seravia-Corvera, 25, was pronounced dead after his Ford F-350 truck was struck and overturned on I-93 North near Exit 25 around 6:30 p.m, according to officials.
On Friday, the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office said investigators are seeking information about a black Toyota Camry that may have been operating erratically before the crash.
The other vehicles involved in the pileup include a gray Subaru Forester, a blue Ford Explorer, and a brown Honda Odyssey minivan, according to officials. Seravia-Corvera’s truck was pulling a trailer when the crash occurred. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A passenger in the Honda Odyssey was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. All other drivers and occupants remained on scene, according to the DA’s office.
Multiple state and local departments responded to the scene, where investigators worked for several hours. The investigation temporarily shut down I-93 North at Roosevelt Circle in Medford. The highway was reopened to all traffic around 11 p.m.
Investigators are asking anyone who witnessed the crash, “or any activity of these vehicles prior to the incident,” to contact the Massachusetts State Police Barracks in Medford at 781-396-0100.
