Robert Lewandowski has been listed in Barcelona’s squad for their crucial UEFA Champions League semi-final second leg against Inter Milan on Tuesday after recovering from a hamstring injury, coach Hansi Flick confirmed on Monday.
The Poland captain missed last week’s thrilling 3-3 first leg in Catalonia after sustaining the injury against Celta Vigo last month, but will be available as a substitute at the San Siro.

“Everything goes in the right way, and he is good, much better than we expected, and he is ready for the bench. So maybe when we need him, he can come in,” Flick told reporters.

Lewandowski’s return is a significant boost for Barcelona. The veteran striker has scored 40 goals in all competitions this season and could play a key role if needed as Barça seek a win to reach the final.
Flick’s men are chasing an incredible quadruple in his debut season, having already defeated Real Madrid to lift the Spanish Super Cup and Copa del Rey. They also lead La Liga by four points with four games remaining.
“I did imagine it (a quadruple bid),” said midfielder Dani Olmo.
“I want to win everything. At Barça, we have the team to be at this stage of the season with all of the trophies still to play for… We know what we want to do, and we’re committed to that with the way we play. We’ve got energy and motivation, and we’re going to go for it.”
Olmo also dismissed suggestions that Inter’s plan to double-mark teenage sensation Lamine Yamal will nullify his impact.
