In a recent interview Suniel Shetty said “Even if Hera Pheri doesn’t happen, I do not want those two friends to be bitter about each other. I don’t want them to fall out. Our industry constantly goes through so much. We are all the time battling to prove ourselves. I don’t want two friends to fall apart.”
Hera Pheri Can’t Happen Without Him
In another interview Suniel said that while there might be a chance of Hera Pheri 3 happening without him or Akshay Kumar, the project cannot go through without Paresh Raval playing his iconic character Babu Rao Apte in this cult-classic comedy film.
A Request For Peace
He said “It cannot happen. 100 per cent cannot happen without Paresh Rawal. It can have a 1 per cent chance without me and Akshay, but 100% can’t happen without Paresh ji. No, it doesn’t. Raju and Shyam, if they’re not hammered by Babu here, it doesn’t work.”
Is the Project Shelved?
While fans have displayed their concerns all over the internet it might still be too early to say that the project has been shelved altogether as Paresh Raval might’ve hinted at the possibility of rejoining the project at some other time.

Revealing why he left the film mid-production, Paresh Raval said, “I know it came as a shock to many. We three make a great combination with Priyadarshanji directing us, but the fact is that I opted out because today I don’t feel like a part of it.”

However hinting at the possibility of return Paresh Raval also said “It is final for the time being. I always say never say never for anything. One cannot predict what happens in the future.”
