George Clooney is currently sporting a dark brunette hairstyle that he “hates”.
It’s a relatable experience to regret a new hairstyle but, unlike most, the Oscar-winning actor and filmmaker can’t undo the do.
He’s stuck with the hairstyle until he’s finished with his current role.
The actor recently spoke with Seth Meyers on Late Night with Seth Meyers and for the occasion wore a black sports cap to hide what he believes to be an ungodly hairstyle.

“I’m wearing a hat to hide my bad hair,” he admitted as he sat down with the talk show host.
“It’s bad. It’s still dark on top but it’s gray at the bottom.”
Clooney recently died his hair dark brown for his Broadway debut, Good Night and Good Luck.

The new hair is a stark contrast to the silver hair Clooney is known for but is required for his on-stage role.
Meyers sympathised with Clooney clarifying that the hairdo “looks great onstage” but joked that offstage it looks more sinister.
“Off stage it looks like you are trying to get away with something,” Meyers joked.
Clooney agreed that it “really looks bad”.
“It looks like you’re going through some horrible midlife crisis,” he said.
“I’m 64 mid-life is a little stretch.”

Clooney added that his wife Amal Alamuddin “thinks [his hair] is funny” but “she’ll be glad when it’s gone”.
As for when it will be gone, Clooney says that day couldn’t come sooner.
The last performance of the Broadway show will be a matinee which will take place this Sunday 8 June. That evening, the Tony Awards will take place.
Clooney, who has received a Tony nomination for his Broadway debut, says he will be switching up his hairstyle in the hours between his final show and the prestigious awards show.
“By the time we go to the Tonys that night, it’ll be gone,” Clooney said.
“I may have a shaved head. I may look like [Russian actor] Yul Brynner.”

It’s not the first time, Clooney has taken a jab at his hairstyle.
At the unveiling of his Sardi’s portrait in New York City in April, the Hollywood icon couldn’t help but crack a joke about his new hair colour.
At the event, Clooney was presented with a portrait of himself and he immediately noticed one thing – his signature silver hair.
“I like the hair colour. It’s much better than my hair colour right now,” Clooney said, per People.
