The Fordingbridge Steam & Vintage Fest returns to Burgate from Friday, August 22 to Sunday, August 24, 2025, promising three full days of nostalgic wonder and family fun. This much‑anticipated event showcases the finest pre‑1970s machinery, performances, animal encounters, and entertainment – ensuring there’s something for everyone.

Highlights of the Fest:

• Lamb National Race & Sheepdog Display: A charming nod to rural traditions, offering an authentic farmyard spectacle.
• Steam Engine Showcase & Tractor Musical Drive: Witness the rhythmic power and mechanical majesty of vintage steam and classic tractors.
• Heavy & Coach Horses: Majestic equines add to the event’s timeless rural feel.
• Birds of Prey & Fun Dog Show: Harold’s feathered hunters take flight by day, while Armchair Dogs host a relaxing canine extravaganza, complete with rosettes.
