Firm commits to promoting, preserving Nigeria’s cultural values

Patrick Anegbe, the managing director and CEO, Intercontinental Distillers Limited, has reiterated the firm’s commitment towards promoting and preserving Nigeria’s tradition and cultural values.

“As a brand, we are committed to promoting and preserving our traditions and cultural values, and we believe that this support will help to strengthen the bond between our brand and the communities we serve,” he said during a recent media parley in Lagos.

He disclosed that the brand has a long history of partnering with traditional palaces across Nigeria to promote cultural values and traditions. According to him, the recent partnership with the Oyo Empire is a significant milestone in Eagle Aromatic Schnapps’ journey to preserve and celebrate the cultural heritage of Nigeria.

“We are thrilled to have supported the coronation of the new Alaafin of Oyo. This event was a celebration of the rich cultural heritage of Oyo town and Nigeria as a whole. The coronation of Iku Baba Yeye, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Abimbola Akeem Owoade I, was a momentous occasion,” he stated.

According to him, Eagle Aromatic Schnapps has always been committed to promoting the rich cultural heritage of communities across Nigeria, as a brand deeply rooted in Nigerian culture and tradition.

He stated that the brand’s support at the coronation of the new Alaafin of Oyo was a testament to the firm’s dedication to preserving and celebrating the traditions and values that define Nigerian communities. “It marked a significant milestone in the history of the ancient Oyo Empire, and Eagle Aromatic Schnapps was honoured to have been a part of it.”
