Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie has expressed delight over her move to English Women’s Super League club Brighton & Hove Albion.
The 24-year-old Nigerian shot-stopper will officially join the Seagulls on July 1 after the expiration of her contract with French club Paris FC.

Her move was confirmed by Brighton, making her the latest addition to manager Dario Vidosic’s ambitious squad.
“I’m excited to be here,” Nnadozie said. “I want to win trophies, to win games, but most importantly, to help the team achieve great things.”
Nnadozie brings top-level experience to the WSL, having made 16 UEFA Women’s Champions League appearances with Paris FC between 2022 and 2025.
A consistent performer on the international stage, she has earned 55 caps for Nigeria since her senior debut in 2018 and is currently with the Super Falcons preparing for the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
Brighton manager Vidosic praised the new signing: “She’s a talented and commanding goalkeeper who will bring consistency and confidence to our defensive line. We’re confident she’ll add both depth and drive to a squad already full of ambition.”
Nnadozie previously played for Nigerian champions Rivers Angels before her move to Europe and is regarded as one of Africa’s top goalkeepers.
Her arrival is expected to significantly strengthen Brighton’s backline as they aim for a stronger league campaign next season.
