Washington Capitals goalie Logan Thompson forgot it’s no longer the regular season in his postgame news conference on Wednesday night.
“Luckily, things went my way tonight and we got the two points,” Thompson told the media before his teammate, Capitals center Dylan Strome, reminded him they’re in the playoffs.
