Browns Get 2 Key Players Back For Last Day Of Minicamp

Date:

The Cleveland Browns need to get their offense in sync.

They’re still in the early stages of offseason preparations, but getting everybody on the same page will be crucial, especially now that head coach Kevin Stefanski will go back to calling the plays.

That’s why it was refreshing to see two veteran wide receivers get back on the field for the final day of minicamp.

As shown by Fred Greetham on X, Cedric Tillman and Michael Woods II are no longer nursing injuries and were full participants in drills.

Woods hasn’t made much of an impact, but with the WR2 position up for grabs, everybody will have a fair shot to make a strong impression.

The same can be said of Tillman.

He’s shown glimpses of strong play in his first two seasons in the NFL, but he has yet to become a consistent contributor in the passing game.

This might be his last chance to prove that he can be a starter in the league.

The Browns signed veteran Diontae Johnson shortly after the 2025 NFL Draft, and he should be the primary candidate to start opposite Jerry Jeudy, but given his volatile character and recent history of burning bridges, there are no guarantees.

As things stand now, the Browns’ wide receivers are a big question mark, and the door is wide open for anyone to earn a bigger role.
