West Indies star Shamar Joseph had the third umpire to blame for not taking a five-wicket haul on day one of the first Test against Australia after he was denied a caught behind.
Joseph ripped through the Aussie top order at Kensington Oval, and had four wickets when he bowled Beau Webster with an incredible delivery.
With Australia at 5-126, Travis Head was on 53 and swung hard at a wider delivery.

The left-hander edged behind but wicket-keeper Shai Hope was unsure if he’d taken the ball on the full.

Umpires Nitin Menon and Richard Kettleborough then sent the decision to third umpire Adrian Holdstock.
Ultra edge showed Head had clearly edged it before the vision of Hope’s gloves led to West Indies celebrations.
The catch was constantly rolled back and forth before being shown in real speed.
Upon another look of the slow motion footage, Holdstock ruled “there’s no clear evidence that the ball’s gone cleanly into the glove” and it was given not out.
“That won’t go down well … we don’t have a square on angle that would be more instructive,” West Indies legend Ian Bishop said in commentary.
“Certainly looked as though it landed on the glove.”
Joseph reacted with a smile and hands on his face.
Post-match, Head explained the Windies weren’t convinced from the start.

“I didn’t look around so I only went off what the West Indies boys thought at the start, which was they weren’t too confident,” he said in his press conference.
“… It looked close, it could’ve gone either way but I’m a long, long away from those screens and the third umpire’s a lot closer than me.
“They were disappointed at the decision and I think vice-versa if it went the other way.”
The decision didn’t hurt the West Indies too much though with Head caught behind off Justin Greaves for 59.
Ultimately, Australia was bowled out for 180. Joseph finished with 4-46.
