The crash on Millbrook Road West has seen the road closed from Freemantle Street to Regents Park Road from around 6am today.
Although the car, a Mercedes, has now been removed, workers could still be seen making repairs for several hours.
The road has now reopened.
Police say that the three passengers of the car, all women, suffered minor injuries and have been taken to the hospital to be checked over.
A 21-year-old woman from Sway has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving.

A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said: “We are currently dealing with a collision on Millbrook Road West.
“We were called just after 6am this morning, to reports of a single vehicle collision with the barriers.
“To enable us to deal with this incident, the road was closed from Freemantle Street to Regents Park Road.
“One woman has been arrested for drink driving.”
