Arnold Schwarzenegger has reacted to one ‘shock’ thing he has in common with his son.
Arnold, now 77, became a big name in Hollywood in the ’80s thanks to roles in Conan the Barbarian, the Terminator franchise and more.
Decades on, his son Patrick Schwarzenegger, 31, whom he shares with ex Maria Shiver, has also pursued acting, recently starring in season three of The White Lotus.

The father-son duo recently sat down to chat about their experiences in Hollywood decades-apart in a new episode for Variety‘s Actors on Actors series.
While the two have taken on different acting roles, there’s one thing they’ve both done on-screen that Arnold “couldn’t believe”: they’ve both bared it all.
“I said to myself, ‘I’m watching your show, and I’m watching your butt sticking out there,'” Arnold recalled seeing his son in the nude during a scene on The White Lotus.
“And all of a sudden, I see the weenie.”
“What is going on here? This is crazy,” he recalled of the surprising scene.
“Then I said to myself, ‘Well, Arnold, hello. You did the same thing in Conan and Terminator, so don’t complain about it’.
“But it was a shock to me that you were following my footsteps so closely.”
Earlier in the chat, Arnold spoke about doing a nude scene for Terminator in 1984.

“Terminator was the first time that I was doing a film that had nothing to do with the muscles. It was with leather jackets on and being a machine,” he told his son.
“Only the opening scene was naked. But I’m talking about naked.”
Arnold joined his son at The White Lotus premiere in Los Angeles in February.
The White Lotus cast reunite before finale that has the world talking
Earlier this year, Patrick opened up about following in his dad’s footsteps as an actor.
The star landed his first role when he was 10 in The Benchwarmers, but The White Lotus is arguably his breakout performance.

“I know there are people who’ll say I only got this role because of who my dad is,” he told The Sunday Times about being cast in the popular series.
“They’re not seeing that I’ve had 10 years of acting classes … worked on my characters for hours on end or the hundreds of rejected auditions I’ve been on.”
