There is anxiety in the air following the death of Shimite Love, Special Adviser to the Delta State Governor on Trade and Exports.
Love popularly known as Mama Sabificate, reportedly died early Monday morning in controversial circumstances.

Bight Edafe, a Superintendent of Police and Police Public Relations Officers of Delta State Police Command confirmed Love’s death to BusinessDay in Asaba, in a phone call.
“Her husband was not arrested but I think based on the news making the rounds, he was afraid that they (angry Deltans) might come for him. So, he came to us for protective custody.
“You know, we have not ascertained what killed the wife. We are trying to find out what actually happened and what led to her death.
“We need to find out because there is version that said she shouted “My Chest, My Chest” and died in the hospital.
“Another version said the husband beated her. So, we have to be sure of what we are doing first. I’m waiting for the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) for detailed information”, Edafe said.
In his reaction, Peter Onokpasa, Coordinator, Delta State Export Assistance Office, said “Our office and hers work together. Her death is a big loss to trade and export community.
“Her passion for export is great. She has been handling issues of trade and export right from the previous administration led by former Governor Ifeanyi Okowa.”
He recalled that his office and hers were planning a lot of programmes to move the State forward and that her efforts have truly taken the non-oil exports to greater level, attracting commendations from the Nigeria Export Promotion Council (NEPC).
“The news of her death is very shocking to me, Onokpasa exclaimed”, he noted.
