At Bombay Times Fashion Week 2025, Ankit Gupta was asked about his alleged breakup with Priyanka Chahar Choudhary. The actor replied that they do not allow any third person to get involved in their matter. “Whatever it is, it has always been between two people. It is between two people, and it always will be. We cannot allow, nor do we allow, any third person to get into our… whatever it (equation) is,” he said as reported by entertainment news portal Pinkvilla.
Earlier, a comment made by Priyanka Chahar had grabbed everyone’s attention. To news agency IANS, she said, “I believe it is always good to evolve- changes are always good. One has to move forward in order to evolve. So, definitely, it is a good thing to evolve, whether it is in a relationship or fashion,” and fans wondered if she was confirming their breakup.
It all started with Priyanka Chahar Choudhary and Ankit Gupta reportedly unfollowing each other on social media. This sparked breakup rumours. Then fans were left shocked when Ankit Gupta revealed that he has backed out of Terre Ho Jaayein Hum TV show. He was supposed to star alongside Priyanka Chahar Choudhary in this one. A poster featuring two was also shared by the makers but now, Priyanka won’t be seen with Ankit Gupta in this show.
