The sun will be shining on Southampton as Summer Sessions continue with homegrown hero Craig David and McFly and thousands pound the paths of The Common during Race For Life.

In Guildhall Square
Fans are set to flock to his TS5 show, with DJ Patrick Nazemi in support, to enjoy Rewind, 7 Days and Walking Away.
On Sunday, pop rock favourites McFly will take to the stage, more than 20 years since they first burst onto the scene with breakout hit Five Colours In Her Hair. Expect to hear All About You and Star Girl.
Race for Life and Pretty Muddy events return on Saturday.
People can choose from 3k, 5k and 10k events, as well as a 5km mud spattered obstacle course and a Pretty Muddy kids option in one of the biggest fundraisers of the year for Cancer Research UK.
Money raised at all the events, including Southampton which is one of the biggest, enables scientists to find new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer.
On the Isle of Wight…
With something for everyone at the massive event, it’s always an unforgettable four days with chaos around the island, which can extend to Town Quay where the Red Funnel and jet services depart for some festi-fun.
It all happens at Seaclose Park in Newport where revellers are already gathering for a weekend basking in sunshine.
In Bedford Place…
It will feature three entertainment zones, live music, street food, creative workshops, and more than 50 independent traders.
Highlights will include performances from Still Moving DJs, choirs, dance acts, art activities, and circus workshops.
The Big Movement, a male mental health initiative by ZoieLogic, will transform the Wilton Avenue car park with interactive dance experiences.
In Totton…
The Totton and Eling Carnival has brought joy to the town for many decades.
But this year’s Mardi Gras themed spectacle is expected to be the final one due to a lack of funding and volunteers.
It sets off at 4pm.
