Kalen DeBoer has picked up another big-time win for the Alabama Crimson Tide on the recruiting trail.
Samuelu Utu is a four-star lineman from Orange, California (Orange Lutheran High School). He checks in at 6-foot-4 and 320 pounds, so he’s literally a big offensive line recruit, but he’s also highly ranked. According to 247Sports, he’s the No. 7 interior offensive line recruit in the 2026 class.
Like most elite recruits, he could choose to go anywhere to play college football. After a few visits to Tuscaloosa, though, Utu committed to play for DeBoer and the Crimson Tide on Monday.
