Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh released on April 18. The film stars Akshay Kumar, R Madhavan and Ananya Panday in key roles. The film is based on C Shankaran Nair who was tasked by British to investigate the Jallianwala Bagh massacre that took place in 1919. As reported by Sacnilk.com, Akshay Kumar’s movie Kesari Chapter 2 has made around Rs 2.71 crore on its sixth day. These are the early estimates and actual figures are yet to come in. The movie has witnessed a slight dip in numbers as per the report. On first Tuesday, i.e., day 5 – Kesari 2 made around Rs 5 crore at the box office. The maximum collection was made by the film on its third day as it raked in around Rs 12 crore at the box office. The total collection of the movie has now crossed the mark of Rs 40 crore. So far the total collection of the movie is around Rs 41.71 crore. The film directed by Karan Singh Tyagi seems to be performing well in comparison to many other movies that released this year.
Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh is facing some competition from Sunny Deol’s movie Jaat. As per the reports, the action thriller made around Rs 1.09 crore on its day 14 at the box office. The film hit the theatres on April 10 and opened to good reviews. The total collection of the film has now touched the mark of Rs 79 crore with its domestic business.
