The film released on May 1 and has recovered its budget in just 4 days. The film has already earned 70 crores and will soon cross the Rs 100 crore mark. However, there was a time when he was called a flop star. He made his debut in 1991 with Phool Aur Kaante. Post that, he did many average, flop films which put a question mark on his career. Gair released in 1999 which was a big flop. After that, many films like Thakshak, Deewane, Raju Chacha, Yeh Raste Hain Pyar Ke, Lajja and Tera-Mera Saath Rahe released but all of them were flops.
From 1999 to 2001, he gave around seven flop movies and later in 2004, Yuva also turned out to be a flop. Again till 2005, there were more flops. Omkara, Aag, Cash, Halla Bol, Sunday, You Me Aur Hum and Mehbooba also failed. In 2008, it looked like his career was over until Golmaal Returns released. Post that too, he had many flops. But now, he is doing well. This is a big story in entertainment news.
Talking about Raid 2, the film has been receiving mixed response from the audience and critics. The opening numbers of the film were amazing. It earned Rs 19.25 crore on the first day. The film is directed by Raj Kumar Gupta and it also stars Vaani Kapoor, Riteish Deshmukh, Saurabh Shukla and others. The film also stars Tamannaah Bhatia and Jacqueline Fernandez in item songs. The film will reportedly release on Netflix after a month
