The arrests follow months of investigation into the vandalism of the holiday display.
Three men are facing charges in connection with vandalizing the Satanic Temple’s holiday display outside the New Hampshire State House in December, authorities announced.
The display, located on the sidewalk outside the State House in Concord, was damaged over several days and nights around the holidays. It was “completely destroyed” in early December and had to be restored a second time after another round of vandalism.
Concord police announced arrests in the case on March 31.
John Camden, 41, of Concord, New Hampshire and David Petriel, 31, of Weare, New Hampshire were arrested on March 27 and charged with criminal mischief, Concord police said in a statement. Joshua Cummings, 33, of Concord, New Hampshire was arrested on March 28 and charged with two counts of criminal mischief.
All three men were released on bail.

The Salem, Mass.-based Satanic Temple was given a permit to place their monument of Baphomet, a deity and occult symbol with yellow eyes, near the city’s nativity scene by the Statehouse, with officials saying the permission had been given in part “to avoid litigation.”
Petriel and Cummins are scheduled to return to court on April 28 for arraignment, and Camden is scheduled to be arraigned on May 19.
