Man United Stunned by Forest, Arsenal Beat Fulham

Manchester United still struggles to get consistent results in the Premier League as they suffered a disappointing loss against Nottingham Forest on Tuesday.  Meanwhile, Arsenal keeping their title hope alive after grabbing a slender win against Fulham.

Man United Stunned by Ex-Player against Forest

The Red Devils have been picking up two straight victories in all competition and were looking for another positive result on Tuesday. However, playing away at the City Ground was far from an easy task for Ruben Amorin’s side.

Man United found themselves trailing 1-0 after just five minutes when their former player Anthony Elanga burst through on goal following a swift counterattack. None of United’s defenders can catch up with Elanga as he comfortably slotted the ball passed Andre Onana.

Despite the away team’s continuous efforts to get back on level terms, Forest holds on to their lead and keeps their top four seats alive. As for United, that result now puts them in 13th place with 37 points from 30 matches.

Arsenal Grabbed Important Win Over Fulham

Contrary to their rival, The Gunners were able to grab an important victory in front of their home crowd at the Emirates. Mikel Arteta’s men took the lead in 37 minutes through Mikel Merino’s effort before Bukayo Saka marked his return with a goal on 73 minutes.

Fulham didn’t lay down easily as they kept on pushing hard and did manage to pull one back in injury time from Rodrigo Muniz’s goal. Unfortunately, that effort was not enough to stop Arsenal from grabbing all three points and slightly keeping their title shot still alive.

That win now puts the Gunners on 61 points, nine points behind league leader, Liverpool, but Arne Slot’s men do have one game in hand. Nevertheless, Arsenal can at least put a bit of pressure on their title rival.
