Southern Water apology as sewage overflows into gardens

Date:

It comes after reports residents of Broughton Close in Millbrook were affected by a blocked drain, which resulted in sewage overflowing into people’s gardens and a foul smell filling the air.

Southern Water vans had been seen in the road throughout last week, with a spokesperson for the water company confirming staff would be heading back to the site to clean the sewer.
