Arsenal handed a nightmare start
If the Gunners have designs on breaking through to finally win the Premier League, it may be decided in the first six games. Arsenal opens the season at Manchester United and travels to Liverpool two weeks later. Anfield has been a house of horrors for the Gunners, who haven’t won there since 2012.
September is no easier with matchups against Nottingham Forest, Manchester City and Newcastle — three teams that were in Champions League contention last season.
