Ucheonye Akachukwu, member, representing Aba central state constituency, in the Abia State House of Assembly, has praised Governor Alex Otti’s achievement so far, noting that he has not only changed the narratives of Abia state, but has given new impetus to the governance of the state.
He observed that Governor Otti’s achievement in just 2-years has exceeded the entire achievements of the previous (24years) People’s Democratic Party (PDP)-led government in the state.
Akachukwu, said that by reconstructing Port Harcourt Road, which was abandoned by the past PDP administrations, that Otti has opened up a lot of areas along that business corridor, including Umuagbai, which was impassible before he came into office.
The Labour Party (LP) lawmaker called on his constituents and the people of Abia state to continue to support Governor Otti, noting that he has initiated several developmental projects, which cannot be completed in his first tenure, adding that it is only when they give him a second mandate that he could accomplish them.
He promised to always remain a good representative of the people and urged them to continue to support the present administration in the state.

Akachukwu made the appeal when he received residents of Umuagbai, in Aba South Local Government Area, who came to thank him for donating an electric transformer and attracting other dividends of democracy to their area.
Herbert Torti, who led the delegation from the community, said that they visited the lqwmqker to express their gratitude for his quality representation.
He said that the area has been in darkness for the past 16 years, due to lack of electricity transformer and commended Akachukwu for providing them with 500 KVA transformer.
Okechukwu Nwoke, a member of the delegation, commended Akachukwu for instituting an entrepreneurship grant in Ogbor Community of Aba.
He said that the initiative will go a long way in empowering youths and entrepreneurs, providing necessary financial support to expand their businesses.
This is as he lauded the lawmaker’s efforts in helping to keep the city of Aba clean, by providing refuse receptacles in strategic locations of Aba.
They promised their unalloyed support for Governor Otti and Akachukwu in the years ahead.
