Street food festival returning to waterfront in Southampton

Date:

The Summer Feastival will appear at the usual site next to the Itchen Bridge for the weekend of June 6 to June 8.

This year, it is “bigger and better than ever” with a larger capacity, even more street food traders, a new Feastival bar, and dedicated Block Party nights on Friday and Saturday.

Summer Feastival transforms the site on the water’s edge under the bridge into an international food festival, with more than a dozen traders representing cuisines from Afghanistan to Nigeria via Mexico, Sri Lanka, and India.

The traders at Summer Feastival include Artysan Pizza, Church of Churros, Colombo Street, Drizzle, Flamin’ Delicious, Gourmet Warriors, Joyd Kitchen, Paletas, Sanjha on the Go, The Melted Cheese Company, Two Lads Kitchen, and Woosabi.

As well as the street food line-up, Summer Feastival’s DJ line-up will be mixing up the atmosphere through the weekend from a Balearic Party on Friday night through a Saturday daytime House Party and into Breaks ‘n’ Boogie in the evening, with the party continuing through the Sunday afternoon session.

Matt Sanger, founder and ringmaster of Street Food Circus: “We’ve been building the Summer Feastival over the past few years and we’re back on this amazing waterfront site, bigger and better than ever, for a weekend of great music, circus party vibes and the best street food traders we’ve collected on our travels across the UK.

“This is the tenth anniversary of Street Food Circus, and we’re celebrating with ten events across the country – so we’re definitely going to be bringing the party to Southampton this year.”

Summer Feastival runs from June 6 to June 8, with tickets available from streetfoodcircus.co.uk.
