But, before he could get the profit for the film, he passed away in an accident on another film’s set. The money earned because of Don’s success was then given to his wife.

Amitabh Bachchan, Zeenat Aman, and Chandra Barot did not take any money for Don but they became popular post the big success. The movie was made on a budget of Rs 70 lakh but it earned approximately Rs 7.2 crore at the box office.
