2025 Green Bay Packers win total, prediction

Date:

The Green Bay Packers battled significant injuries last season but went 11-6 and made the playoffs in the tough NFC North. Per BetMGM, head coach Matt LaFleur’s team is projected to take a minor step back in 2025.

Regular-season win total: 9.5 (BetMGM

Outlook: The Packers had a quiet offseason compared to the rest of their division rivals. Green Bay lost starting center Josh Myers, veteran linebacker Eric Wilson and minor contributors in running back AJ Dillon, cornerback Eric Stokes and tackle Andre Dillard. To counteract those departures, Green Bay moved Elgton Jenkins to center and signed guard Aaron Banks, linebacker Isaiah Simmons and cornerback Nate Hobbs.

The biggest issue for Green Bay last season was injuries to wide receivers. Jayden Reed (857 yards receiving in 2024), Christian Watson (620 yards) and Romeo Doubs (601 yards) missed time last season, but the Packers are running it back with the same trio in 2025. Plus, they added Texas WR and speedster Matthew Golden in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft and TCU’s Savion Williams in the third round. With an impressive WR room, could Green Bay deal one of its veteran wideouts?

QB Jordan Love also played through injuries in 2024. He finished with 3,389 passing yards, 25 touchdowns and 11 interceptions, but most Packers fans will remember his three-interception, no-TD showing in a 22-10 wild-card loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. If Love stays healthy this season, the fifth-year veteran is poised to ascend to the elite tier of quarterbacks in the NFL.
