The Lagos State Government has appointed Ayodeji Ogunmuyiwa as the Provost of the Lagos State College of Nursing, Midwifery and Public Health Nursing.
The appointment was communicated through a letter: LGS/HOS/178/XII/120, signed by Bode Agro, the state Head of Service.
Presenting the letter on behalf of the state government at Alausa on Wednesday, Tolani Sule, Commissioner for Tertiary Education, stated that the appointment was coming at a crucial time when the government is working to reposition its tertiary health institutions and healthcare delivery system for optimal service efficiency and effectiveness.
He emphasised the importance of the college in meeting the healthcare needs of Lagos State’s growing population by producing qualified health professionals of international standards.
The commissioner said that Ogunmuyiwa’s appointment was based on merit—highlighting her extensive administrative experience, professional background, and outstanding past achievements.
