Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala managed to turn heads at the World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit 2025 (WAVES). There are rumours which state that the two are expecting their first child.
Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala have been in the news after their appearance at the WAVES 2025 Summit in Mumbai. The two managed to give love goals to many with their appearance. Sobhita and Naga Chaitanya looked elegant together and we could not take our eyes off them. Several fans began speculating that Sobhita and Naga Chaitanya are expecting a baby five months after their wedding in December 2024.
The Made in Heaven actress turned heads in a heavily embellished saree, while Naga Chaitanya looked dapper in a black bandhgala. The rumors intensified after the actress shared a series of pictures wearing loosely fitted outfits and some users even said that the diva was trying to hide her baby bump.
Sobhita looked radiant as she paired her saree with heavy traditional jewellery and sindoor. Her midriff was hidden by the saree pallu which has caused the speculation. Social media was flooded with theories that suggested that the couple had been hiding their pregnancy.
But, now a family member close to the couple has finally broken the silence in an interview with ETimes and has put all the rumours to rest. The insider clarified, “She wore anti-fit, not maternity. It’s amazing how a change in silhouette can birth a whole new storyline.” This statement has made it clear that the actress is not expecting a child. The family member even said how public figures like Sobhita are constantly analyzed without any reason. Well, neither Sobhita nor Chaitanya nor the Akkineni family have commented on the same. Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita tied the knot on December 4, 2024, at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. The two kept their relationship under wraps for a long time. In an interview with Hindustan Times, Chaitanya spoke about how he and Sobhita connect deeply over cinema and travel. He said, “She is from Vizag, and I love Vizag. Even though we are from different cities, we share a cultural bond.”
On the work front, Sobhita will soon be seen in a Telugu film which will go on floors in February. The film is directed by Sharan Koppisetty and will also star Vishwadev Rachakonda. Well, Naga Chaitanya was earlier married to Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The two parted ways in October 2021.
