CID 2 has been getting love. The show began in 1998 and had a successful run till 2018. When the show went off-air, everyone was disappointed. The audience wanted it back and hence, on public demand, CID returned with second season in 2024. The show has been doing a great job on television again and now, it is only Netflix too. Recently, the show grabbed headlines after the death scene of ACP Pradyuman was shown.
Shivaji Satam, Dayanand Shetty and Aditya Srivastava returned as ACP Pradyuman, Daya and Abhijeet hold a special place in the hearts of the audience. Hence, ACP Pradyuman’s demise broke many hearts. People were unhappy with the decision to drop Shivaji Satam.
Post that, Parth Samthaan entered the show as ACP Ayushmaan. He became the boss and was praised for his performance. However, he was also trolled for replacing Shivaji Satam. But, again on public demand, Shivaji Satam aka ACP Pradyuman is brought back to the show.
Parth on working with Shivaji Satam
Now, Parth has opened up about working with Shivaji Satam. They have shot their first scene together. He spoke to Pinkvilla and said that they have shot together and it is a big scene. He is excited for the scene this week because it is a very good scene.
He further said that he has enjoyed shooting with Shivaji Satam and he is a gem of a person. He added, “He learned that I’m a Maharashtrian, so we spoke in Marathi. I felt like I was in Pune with a friend. He is very relaxed and very chill. The entire unit looks up to him. They see him as a father figure. Considering his age and experience in theatre and in CID, what he has done for the show is outstanding.” This is a big story in entertainment news and TV news.
Parth said he is like a son to him and it is nice to sit besides him and know his experiences. He shot with ACP Pradyuman the whole day and he liked everything about the senior star.
