Usher surprises fans by bringing out supermodel Naomi Campbell during London show

Music superstar Usher planned the ultimate surprise for his British fans at one of his London shows this week.

The hitmaker, 46, brought out on stage iconic British supermodel Naomi Campbell, 54, as he performed his song, Bad Girl.

Campbell looked incredible in a silver sparkly minidress as Usher serenaded her and sung lyrics from the song, including: “What y’all know about a supermodel, fresh outta Elle magazine.”

Campbell, who has modelled for the likes of Versace and Chanel throughout her career, came out to cheers from the crowd.

She strutted her stuff on stage and at one point looped arms with Usher as they made their way around in front of thousands.

Sharing footage from the moment and from rehearsals, Campbell shared with her millions of followers that it was a “full circle moment”.

“Almost 21 years after we first did this at Fashion Rocks in New York, I had the honour of joining @usher on stage once again – this time in my hometown, London, at the O2,” she captioned her post.

“Thank you for having me, for your kindness, and for reminding us all why you’re one of the greatest to ever do it. Your talent is unmatched, your energy electric.”

She added: “Forever a Bad Girl for this one 💜.”

Usher, born Usher Raymond IV, is playing a series of 10 shows at London’s 02 Arena this month and next as part of his Past Present Future tour.

“This is the United Kingdom of Usher right now!” he told the crowd during Tuesday night’s show.

“It has been a long time coming, it’s been 10 years, and for every year I’ve been away I decided to do one show, that’s how much I’ve missed you.

“Every time I come to London I always have an amazing time, I won’t leave it for that long next time.

“You know, I have a pint, love a pint, no matter where we are we always manage to have a party.”

Legends of the music world, then and now

Eight months ago, he was forced to postpone some dates on his tour due to a neck injury.

“Earlier this week, I suffered an injury to my neck while rehearsing to provide my fans with the greatest USHER show of all time,” he wrote at the time, before saying his injury wasn’t “healed yet”.
